Alpha Radiology Reporting
Advising an independent sector tele-reporting company on extending their offering
The brief
Alpha, an established reporting house, was looking to extend their business to offer third-party reporting services to other large reporting outsourcing providers. The brief comprised two distinct elements:
Project 1: Alpha required assistance in gaining the correct knowledge to allow them to bid for contracts for reporting through various NHS frameworks
Project 2: Alpha Radiology Reporting requested a full review of processes regarding onboarding, annual reviews, and audit to ensure they were compliant with the requirements to enable them to report as a third-party provider
Our approach
Project 1: A copy of the tender requirements was received and reviewed, along with the information provided by Alpha. SMR were able to complete the required tender questions and enable Alpha to understand the reasoning behind some of the requests and to draw out the information from within their business that then enabled them to be accepted onto the framework in question.
Project 2: Alpha Radiology Reporting wanted to be able to offer their business as a third-party reporting venture to other larger reporting houses. Whilst Alpha was a reporting house in its own right, they needed advice on additional requirements for third-party providers. SMR reviewed all processes paying special attention to the onboarding, audit, and indemnity requirements. Advice was given in reference to indemnity structure, audit figures and onboarding information.
The impact
Alpha was accepted on to the framework and has expanded their knowledge of framework structures which has led to business growth. They have gone on to provide substantial support to other reporting houses which has allowed their business to grow to become a contender in the tele-reporting market.
